I am interested to know how many fans on here would boycott a new stadium and only go to the away games
has anyone watched this Hayes dodged the final question http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/w/wycombe_wanderers/9403966.stm
I don't want the new stadium but I wouldn't boycott it. I love the club like anyone else and will always want to go to games and support the team. I'd be interested to hear from the people who are saying they will boycott the new stadium. I admire their principles but I couldn't desert my club.
wandermagic i was looking on the gas room this morning and read on there about fans saying they would boycott it.from my point of view once a wanderer always a wanderer but i wouldnt criticise someone with strong beleifs to boycott if thats what they choose to do.
I think if it gets to the point that the Wasps Benefit stadium is built then it's too late and the damage will already have been done.
Welcome NNQ. Do you not support Wycombe Wanderers? Who did you support when we played Wolves in the FA Cup?
There are now 51 WWFC supporters on our forum. 50 of those are Wycombe supporters and one is a Wolves supporter. The 50th Wycombe supporter was JW666 (joined tonight) but the 50th member was NNQ (joined yesterday). So we made 50, time to celebrate. or whichever you prefer
Hi Ron, I was born in Wolverhampton and remember first going to Molineux in 1960, so I'm a lifelong Wolves supporter. However, I've lived in the Wycombe area since 1980, and have followed the Chairboys regularly ever since the Isthmian League days, as I haven't always been able to afford the time or the money to get up to Molineux on a regular basis. So Wycombe is my second team, which means I supported the Wolves when Wycombe deservedly beat us in the FA Cup. I hope that qualifies me as wanting the best future for WWFC.
Just to let you know that I have already applied for my season ticket for Booker. Apparently I am entitled to Blocks A, B & C in the new North Stand. Remember to bring your mobile to the game Rocky and we can communicate to start the chants!
Blue slasher, you need to tell the truth, you eat to many pies that is why you need 3 blocks to yourself. We have all seen you eating chips and pies befor the game. The first road to recovery is to admit it to yourself.
Don't forget spectators must stand/sit at least 10metres apart as Hayes doesn't want any section completely empty. Take walkie talkies and binoculars. I've asked for microphones to be strategically placed to pick up all sounds and relay them through more strategically place speakers via some powerful amplifiers. Should be great.
NNQ. That's what I like a true supporter. Very admirable. I actually sponsored the match ball for that match. Good bunch of supporters from Wolves; got chatting to some during the match. I was in the stand near where they come out of the tunnel. Might have been chatting to you even. Would you mind adding Wycombe Wanderers as your second team on your profile to see if it picks you up as a Wycombe supporter when I do a count up. Thanks. Glad to see you have joined us on here.
i am gonna bring my barbecue slasher that way i can send smoke signals so you know where i am in the ground
