Potentially helping out at a car boot sale with the outlaws tomorrow, bang goes my Saturday morning lie-in. In a leafy suburban setting so hopefully not as chav-ridden as ones we've done before. Set up at Wimbledon by the dog track for one boot sale and before the table was even out there were hordes of pikeys and Somalians trying to pick through the bags to see what was on offer. Mrs Grove is a pleasant and reserved kind of lady but by the end of the day her nerves were shredded and she was being openly hostile to the tramps who were picking up stuff marked 20p and saying they would pay 5p for two. She didn't get the whole haggling bit and thought everyone was just taking the piss. On the stall next to us was a burd who just put a load of black backs on her table and they were full of rather ragged looking underwear but the chavs couldn't get enough of it, she made a mint. Second hand scants, I can't think of much worse. Well, I can but that's beside the point. Mrs Grove has gone gardening bonkers so Sunday looks like digging holes for new plants and hacking back even more undergrowth and weeds. Bound to get another decent crop of apples so it is pie time too. Apart from asking me to kill myself what are you twats up to?
Had to postpone chores on Sunday as Grove Junior Senior decided to go to the park with Grove Junior Junior and the clumsy cow fell off a rope swing and broke her wrist. A few hours in A&E got me out of the domestic stuff though. She's all good now thanks for asking.
I finished off my autobiography at the weekend finally. It's 37 pages long. A must read for lost souls out there.
First game McCoist(or as hilariously ER says, McMoist) played after he broke his leg against the dirty Portuguese. First correct answer is correct.
Last time I was in my GP's waiting room I noticed a sign about their new telephony system being installed which asked patients "to please bare with us" Have to admit it was the last place I would expect to see in invitation to get naked.
Sally McMoist to give him his full moniker, buddy. Actually as a player I had a lot of time for Ally even though he destroyed us a fair few times, the vast majority of us Dons fans had a lot of time for him. Decent bloke then and good pals with Alex Mcleish.
