What does Galloway's shock win tell us?

Is it simply a protest against the main parties and the pain we are feeling?

Is it particular to the area and a sign of Galloway's popularity within the Asian population?

    Is more a Northern protest?

Was it we don't like the ConDems but don't trust Ed Milliband?
    Was it the Galloway affect?

Or was it simply a freak result?

Maybe we will find that know one really cares. <doh>

I have always had a huge admiration for George Galloway, as he is a formidable debater and a hugely colourful character. His win is a massive slap in the face for Ed Milliband, the Mr Anonymous of British politics, and further proof that labour couldn't win a tortoise race in a car.

That said, I also think Galloway is a complete and utter bell end of a man. It's a paradox.

Note to the labour party. For ****s sake go and get the right brother this time and maybe we can have a real opposition to this shambolic, corrupt, morally depraved, greedy, unrepresentative set of ****s ever seen in charge of this country.

Isn't it a sad reflection of the system that an actor like galloway can get people to choose him as the best man to represent them.... however the alternatives of milliband balls osborne and cameron don't really inspire any confidence in normal people do they? They live in a world we can only imagine and probably woudn't really want to be part of.
Mind you, a share of their personal fortunes would go down nicely thank you.

The man is a self publicist of the highest order. Complete bell end. I agree politics is piss poor in this country. Party politics are awful. However I still try to engage as these idiots are making choices about how I live etc. they are corrupt and self serving and short of revolution I don't know how that can change.

Did these politicians learn anything from the expenses scandal? Not really and their sense of entitlement beggars belief.

The labour movement seems to have gone and the leaders of labour do not support the working classes anymore.

The great social revolution in this country seems to have died and we are reverting back to a ruling class and soon Downton abbey will be a documentary.

Couldn't agree more. The man has gone after the Muslim vote, regardless of what he says, but fair play to him because the other self-satisfied mugs missed their opportunity. It'll be interesting to see what he does.

I'd love that vacuous little ****e Clegg to knock at my door at the next election. He wouldn't be eating solids for some time if he did, for propping up the single most loathsome set of Toryboy ****ers, who are making the most incredible negative changes to ordinary working people's lives, despite the fact they didn't actually win the election.

Anyone who votes Lib Dem at the next election is a complete thick twat IMO, as they may as well just vote Tory and be done with it. Vote Lib Dem get Cameron and Osbourne.

Answer to the question Billy is - never.

100% agree but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for the revolution, the people will, sadly, take anything the MP's throw at them.
Cest, Syd asked you it mate, not me, lol.

Dont mention Ming, Campbell that is not the goalkeeper. And not Campbell the striker but the Scott, not Gordon thats a goalkeeper again, but Brown may be OK, the politician that is not the CB
