Any chance of the match being off due to this constant rain, it's awful over here in the North West with postponed fixtures at Morcambe, Accrington, Fleetwood and a few in Yorkshire, a relative in Gateshead says the snow is heavy and covering the ground, Whsts the weather doing in Sunderland?
Heavy snow now, in Redhouse area anyhow, the grounds men should be using the snow shovels at this minute. Could be dodgy though.
Whereabouts do you live mate? We've all seen the reports of the flooding in Cumbria, feel sorry for people over there.
It's snowing but very wet snow so not really lying - more like slush once it's on the ground. That won't cause a safety issue for fans travelling to the ground so that isn't issue and I don't think the pitch will be waterlogged so will be greasy but not a match stopper.
Thanks lads, DM I'm just south of Kendal and didn't have a problem last weekend although other parts of the village were under water, I feel sorry for the poor souls in Keswick and Carlisle as this is just pouring more misery onto them.
Means nothing. Its around the ground. But nearly everyone will be there now. So it shouldnt be a problem.
Nice one mate, Cumbria is a beautiful part of the world and I've only ever been greeted by nice people the many number of times I've been there.
For slush. Haway man Com, the world can operate just fine in that stuff. Unless the Wear raises about 60 meters i thank the routes will be fine
Not saying people further out won't struggle to make it on time like. Probably a few will miss kick off.
Not disageeing. But reading couple of seasons ago was called of. Anyhow this one looks like going ahead. So it dont mattet.
Apparently much further out is having problems. It's laying in Cleveland so a few will miss kick off. This is redcar at the minute please log in to view this image Ben snowing a while in darlo and it's just starting to lay.
Wouldn't fancy playing in that <frostbite> Going to the town tonight. Might take a sledge and not the metro.
