Bearing in mind the problems faced by PFC in the last twelve months, I think we will probably scrape through to the last play off position and end up going to wembley yet again because that's the sort of thing that happens in football. as the man said years ago "it's a funny old game"

If we do, as you say, reach the playoffs - and win them - I'll prefer the other old saying:
    The Beautiful Game!

I love the optimism as seen through the blue tinted specs! You are six points below with a worse goal difference than those you have to catch. There are only a handful of games left and your recent form has dropped off it's previously blistering pace, but...... Well, how about, "against all odds"? ;)

I dont agree Portsmouth DESERVE to be in the prem. They are not in such a big team and there short stint was mainly down to the spending and look where that got them

Im not however stating we are bigger or deserve more than pompey.... but to deserve to be in the prem it has to be backed up a little more than the last few years etc.

Every team deserves to be in the Prem if they manage to get there either through automatic promo or by the play offs. Thats the rules.

If we can beat Reading away and then win our next to home games against preston and conventry, then we have a very real chance. If we lose to Reading i don't think it will be possible, atleast were talking about play offs and not relegation!

I think we will get at least a draw at Reading roared on by our 3000+ travelling support, and then win the next two against Preston and Coventry at home. The trouble is we then have Cardiff and Swansea to play!:emoticon-0107-sweat
