So, folks, what are your thoughts regarding Saturday's match at Vicarage Road. Would you keep the same side that beat Leicester? Are the Hornets going to be stronger this season? Score prediction? I would take a draw. COYR!
I would take a draw as well. I remember making a late decision to go on New Year's Day, suddenly thinking as we kicked off 'uh oh, we're going to get hammered here', and then being blown away by one of our best performances of the season. Fuller's trickery for our third goal was a wonder to behold. As much as I think we might have turned a corner against Leicester, I can't see us getting more than a draw here at best. 2-1 Watford
A strong, battling display would be good, a point would be brilliant and a win completely unexpected. They'll be all the more stringer this year after their play off heartbreak!
Tough on Wilson, who played well against Leicester, but Solly has to play if fit. Anya is good but I fancy Solly to keep him quiet.
Agreed. They won't take us for granted again. A good chance Sir Christopher Powell will play both of them.
Eddie, if our Doctor does play both Solly & Wilson then where does he fit in either Pritchard or Stewart? or are you saying he will play one up front with Church on the bench?
I agree with FHB, Solly has to play if fit keeping the same formation as vs Leicester. That would be the only change I would make. I would take a draw, Watford obviously one of the top teams in the division and expect them to be all the more determined following their wembley defeat in May. An optimistic 1-1 draw for me.
I would keep the 3-5-2 and just swap Solly for Wilson, but CP is cautious and may revert to 4-4-2 in which case Wilson is better than Pritchard at RM. Pritchard could partner Jackson in CM with Evina at LM and Stephens, Cousins and Gower on the bench. I cannot see where Cameron Stewart will ever come into the equation unless Church, Harriott, Pigott and Sordell are all unavailable. Most pointless signing ever. (Hope he proves me wrong!).

I reckon we'll revert back to 4-4-2 being an away game so... Hamer Solly - Morrison - Dervite - Wiggins Stewart - Pritchard - Jackson - Harriott Church - Kermorgant
That's not 4-4-2. That's 4-2-4, a formation that became obsolete fifty years ago for everyone except the brilliant Brazilians who could afford not to take defence seriously. We might score a couple but would concede four or five.
I will be there today, and will try to post some updates during the game. It will be interesting to see Powell's tactics and how we are set up. If we sit back I think we could get battered. Hoping that Cousins starts to bring some ooomph to the midfield.
Team has just been announced and is the same that beat Leicester apart from Wood in for Cort (who apparently is out for four weeks) so Wilson keeps his place ahead of Solly (Who doesnt even make the bench!!) Hamer Wilson, Morrison, Dervite, Wood, Wiggins Stephens, Pritchard, Jackson Church, Kermorgant Bench: Alnwick, Evina, Cousins, Gower, Stewart, Sordell, Pigott
Cort out for four weeks is a concern, Wood has yet to convince me. Solly not being on the bench is a worry as well but a reasonably attacking side being fielded none the less. Look forward to VaV's updates.
Is this the squad containing most UK players versus the squad with least? In the Championship? In the top two divisions?
