Too many on here are tired of waiting for transfer news from Spurs. Rants are appearing screaming for this player or that. Debates about perming Keane, Pav.,Crouch who is going who is staying.

I keep reading comments asking why do we wait until the end of the window why not do the business early. It should be obvious really but for those who do not understand try this.

Harry wants a couple of players to improve his squad. Other clubs know this. If you buy early in the window everyone has room to maneuver. Villa bought early they paid up to 24 mill. for Darren Bent. Do you think that is a good deal because I don't. They justify it with their need for a stiker and so on, but come on 24 million pounds for Darren Bent.

Think on it, how much does that make a 'real' top striker worth 30 mill. or 40 mill.?

Compare that to recent Spurs deals VDV 8 million Good Deal?, Kranjkar 2.5 million Good Deal? Pienaar 2.5 million Good Deal?

I think so don't you!

Or some older deals before Harry, Bentley 16 million Good Deal?
Bent 16 million Good Deal?

NO!

Right now if you look at our best deals they are done when?

Correct; At the end of the window.

So if we want someone better than we have already we will either have to pay through the nose, like Villa or wait until the seller clubs options begin to reduce and the price comes down.

Try also to remember that the transfer window is not the entertainment, it's business. Football that's the entertainment, try to enjoy that.

Since we will definitely finish top 4 this season and keep Bale (who in any event would not join financially mismanaged clubs like Manure) the sky's the limit

Chelsea and Manure will be finished once their ageing players retire and there is no money to replace them

Bale turned you down once before to go go to a club that was on the up, could help him become one of the top players in the world and play Champions league footie!!
Who was it he chose......................TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR!!!!!!!!!

Back to the point, It is frustrating that we wait until 31st Jan to to business but Spurf has it spot on!! Do we waste £30m and give the others time to spend it on replacements??
