Unbeaten (just) and the attendences are creeping up…but that was a close one.
Played with purpose for first 15 and last 20 minutes…unfortunately the game was 90 minutes long!
Referee was quite poor and unnecessarily whistley I thought. Bookings were slightly laughable.
Their goal was a shame as I thought York were toothless and the back four (Johnson and Doherty in particular) were the outstanding players for most of the game.
When we did have a runner, Wood or Max K…it seemed there was never anyone keeping pace and showing for a forward pass…so they were panicked into poor passes and York were able to snaffle the attacks.
Once they scored we stepped up a gear but it seemed to come from nowhere and I cannot help thinking we fluked our way out of an embarrassing loss.
In other news: Nigel Worthington had a very nice suit and my bottle of slightly warm coke squirted all over the place when I opened it.

we were very poor in the final third, other than that we didn't actually play too badly. Another silly booking for deano though and Saturday concerned me about the lack of attacking options off the bench - we ended the game with 2 strikers on the pitch : one is the worst ive ever seen in a Wycombe shirt and the others a youngster with no goals yet
