For the first fifteen minutes I thought Torquay were shockingly poor, so the half-time scoreline was a surprise to say the least. After all the stick he has been getting I was pleased that Jo K got a goal to give us hope, although had he not carried on it should have been a pen anyway. Whatever it was Gaz said at half-time seemed to work, especially in the case of Cowan-Hall and Arnold (Who I thought was appalling in the first half and fully expected to be replaced). Second half the teams were pretty evenly matched, though Lewis and Blooms both had really good games, and in the end we deserved the win. Not done the JPT so this is the best game yet. One major plus point for me was the referee, who seemed to let play flow and as a result there was less messing about and controversy than normal.
Alan Knill is very tall…
