The Spain international, who was a part of La Furia Roja's victorious Euro 2008 squad, has just come to the end of his current contract at El Madrigal, and says he would be willing to listen to any offers from the Welsh outfit. "Marcus Senna had a previous conversation by phone with Swansea manager Brendan Rodgers, and that made him very proud and honoured with the possible interest of Swansea to have him in the squad for the Premier League," Senna's representative, Ely Coimbra, told the Western Mail. "Marcus is very happy with the possibility and of course keen to play Premier League football, but we want to make very clear that we are right now in preliminary talks. "But of course Swansea City can be a very attractive option, since Mr Rodgers explained to Marcos his ideas about his team and part of Swansea's project - which pleased him a lot - and obviously because of the nice and vibrant city of Swansea."

Don't get me wrong, I love Swansea but perhaps they haven't quite told him the full truth here in selling the place!
On a sunny day we could persuade anyone to move down here! We should keep someone in the Met Office on a retainer...
Perhaps his agent has seen a special promotional video the board produced for potential signings; a few shots of Wind Street on a Saturday night, luxury boat sailing from the Marina, panorama shot of the beach closing in on a bar in Mumbles on a sunny summers day....it may be worth investing a few quid to get a good film maker to take this on
Innit man... "The Welsh Riviera"! Hahaha. God I hope we sign Marcos Senna, he could be so instrumental in us staying up, and I think Joey would benefit so much from playing alongside him.
Hell Bangkok, don't lower the tone of our Swansea Riviera!..................... please log in to view this image
