I agree with the writers sentiments , there are plenty of unused brown belt areas of Swansea which could be developed for housing . With the allotment, there are still many mementoes of what previously stood there and what a fitting monument it would be in these divisive times to have a community based facility which should be nurtured not destroyed .
Money talks, and this is a prime area for development being in the centre of Swansea. Once the economy starts going the other way this will be sold off. It's a shame to lose an obvious community success story but I can't see anything else happening there.
