I have tried to value our players at current rates, some could be slightly higher some could be lower. However it should give a good indication, where we are against the rest of the championship. 1- Fielding worth max £400.000 2-Williams £250.000 3-Flint £1 million 4- Bryan £500.000 5-Little £300.000 6-Korey Smith £1.5 million 7-Freeman £750.000 8-Pack £300.000 9-Agard £800.000 10-wilbs age related zero 11-Ayling 1 million 12-Burns £200.000 13-Reid £200.000 14-wagstaff £200.000 15-kodija £3 million A squad that is worth 10 million at most. When you think single players are going for 4.5,6.7.8 million in the championship just shows where we sit in todays championship league. I apprieciate that the most expensive squad, does not always come out on top,but i would imagine 80% of this league had more valuable squads. This could be a good indicator, to where we sit in the championship at present.
No, just one persons valuation and no two will ever be the same. That said, I hope that you didn't really value Bobby Reid at £200.. A player is only worth what someone is willing to pay for them so this kind of thread is completely pointless.
£200 for Reid, bit harsh that mate , Kodjia is the only player in our team that would be sold for a decent price, Flint, Smith, Ayling aren't nowhere near worth £1 million pound imo
To be honest you could find an argument that every thread is pointless. the great thing about the human race and football posters is that what they say and do makes things tick... how many tv quiz's say " out of a hundred people" how boring would that be if all hundred said the same! or everybody thought roast beef on a Sunday was what everyone should indulge in!
It doesn't matter how much a player is "worth". Players never go for what they are worth, they go for whatever the selling clubs wants. So yes, if somebody wanted to buy Aden Flint they would have to pay a minimum of 1 million. If someone wanted Freeman they would have to pay near on 2m. So this whole valuation thing is pointless. Andre Gray scored 17 goals last season and we were bidding 10m. Simple fact is if Kodjia gets 18+ then we'll be asking for the same.
Little bit out of date (mid 2015)but some interesting information on the blue few.. https://companycheck.co.uk/company/00051828/BRISTOL-ROVERS-FOOTBALL-CLUB-LIMITED/summary
Based on last years form yes I agree - the problem is that he has struggled at a higher level Interesting thread - a player is only worth what someone will pay for him, and if a Premier League club is interested then the price doubles
Think you've underestimated Korey's valuation and maybe about right for Kodija. As for the rest I think the valuations are far to high. And seriously, are you suggesting anyone would pay money for Fielding, Williams or Wagstaff ?
