I seem to remember a Barry Davies comentary from the 70's where he quoted this. Think it was Mick Doyle as the immovable object but cant remember who the forward was? Anyone? Anyway Think we all agree Mourinho doesnt make many mistakes but letting Lukaku go out on loan is a massive cock up. He looks excellent every time I see him play. So we have all rightly praised Curtis Davies for his superb defensive displays, well todays the day we find out just how good he is. Both him and Faye need to knock Lukaku about and dominate him. This is the game Curtis can make Hodgson sit up and take notice, especially with England's first choice CB at the other end.
Lukaku looks about the best forward at Chelsea - very Drogba esque, which makes it even more surprising Mourinho let him leave on loan. On a side note Belgium have a decent front line with Lukaku and Benteke.
Maybe Jose has a sinister plan? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...Chelseas-title-rivals-claims-Steve-Bruce.html
Surely first and foremost you have to improve your own chances of winning the league? I'm going for the option of a mistake by Mourinho.
Me too. i'd be happy with a draw but going to go for 2-3 to us. Davies Aluko and Danny Graham with the winner.
Lukaku and Benteke, supplied by Mirallas, Fellaini, Hazard, Dembele...and behind them Mignolet, Kompany, Van Buyten, Vertonghen, Vermaelen... they could go very far indeed next summer.
