    I don't think italia 90 will ever be beaten. Amazing tournament that made the nation fall in love with football again

    good watch! Really good memories , i was 10 during in 1990 and probably what started the football obsession.

    Sickening to think whats happened to gazza like. Did he get a big payout from that case then?

    I seem to remember some pillock on here offering to buy him beer!!! What a muppet.

    The worst thing to happen to Gazza was going to Spurs. The strong rumour was he had an agreement to go to ManU before Venables stepped in.

    He talks about it in his movie, he agreed to sign for Man U then Spurs called up and said I will buy your mam and dad a house, so his dad said that's a bit cheap like through in a car and it's a deal haha he also got his sister a sunbed out of the deal haha

    Great video, he was one of the most talented footballers ever to wear an England shirt FACT. Just a shame that what happened outside of football nearly killed him, big respect to the lad I used to love watching him play for England.

    quality, fantastic footballer and cracking sense of humour.
    Shame he didn't go to Man Utd as I think Sir Alex would have looked after him better.

    We've been pretty ****e since Italia '90. Euro '96 wasn't bad, but we were either great or crap in that one.

    South Africa did it for me, for England. They can all go stand on their heads as far as I'm concerned...
