Now then lads.. I see that right educated hard lad we have running the country has flung back his Eton shoulders, denounced Russian aggression and shouted from wherever that 12 more sanctions have been placed on Russian whatever's to asset freezing thingies.. Bold statement from a man that sees our defences as a worthless nonentity to cracking out one of the worlds best. No doubt if it does kick off then the three regions who I am led to believe supply our finest, the North East, Liverpool & Glasgow will bear the brunt (do correct me if I'm wrong btw) and our petulant noneties from the privileged sector will come out from the skirting boards when it's all over. Gas will rule on this one though.. Just an opinions thread lads, Iv'e said my bit, feel free to contribute, if not then ignore..
As said on the smug thread, all about greed and commodities, in this case gas, its none of our business, russia are ****ing dangerous, always have been always will be. They could smite and awefully big smite Keep our beaks out i say But imo your quite right
He can't, he has to poke his tongue up Obama's arsehole. It's the law what with us being the 51st state.
Why can't we just be like ****ing Denmark or New Zealand? They don't say boo to a goose regarding world politics. Why do we have to make everybody's business our business? One day we'll get ourselves blown up from arse tonguing the yanks. We should leave them to bully the planet on their own.
Crimea is Russian- the majority of the populace speak Russian , Crimea was only given to the Ukraine on a whim by Nikita Khrushchev in 1954 when Ukraine was part of the USSR, I honestly do not blame Putin for the incursion there, its the EU Nato and the good ol' UsofA fault for tampering with the Ukraine political structure and trying to politically influence to gain a pro western government - if you gonna **** on the doorstep of Russia you reap what you sow!
The thing is, this isn't a Iraqi force or Afghanistan one and I do know a lot of the time our forces fight a unseen enemy who looks everyday life, and you have to credit the lads for that but these lot will come in full combat gear, the back up, the lot. I do think Russia have wanted this for a long long time, going back to when they put a helluva lot of tanks East side of the Berlin Wall in 1979. I was 22 back then, in Dortmund and the consensus was these ****ers would come through that wall and take West Germany. It didn't happen, it nearly did but it didn't..
Mayfair is Russian. Most of the population speak Russian Love the Russians me. When they get here I hope they remember that x
Bold statement, up to speed on Russian politics? So what about the Ukraine contingent in the Crimea then? Like you said, it's been part of Ukraine since 1954, I was born 1957 and I feel ****ing ancient so why are these 60+ disco dancers wanting to be a part of a country that has ****s running the government? After all, I never see Cameron or Milliband with a pointed brolly in there mit..
Vast majority of Crimeans wish to be Russian rather than Ukrainian as has been proved in the recent referendum. The West does not like this but were perfectly happy to watch a political coup take place & the ousting of a democratically elected president. They were also perfectly happy for Kosovo to declare it's independence thus Serbia losing even more land. Israel annexed the West Bank & Gazza Strip illegally in 1967 & the USA thought it was great. Talk about double ****ing standards.
We're embarrassing ourselves here, best to pretend it's not really happening. So **** Crimea, **** missing panes & **** suicide bombers ......... there's a match on tomorrow
in my honest opinion -at the end of the day most politicians are ****s ... just some are bigger ****s than the others
In my honest opinion, the term 'at the end of the day' does my ****ing head in. At the end of the day it's night, full stop.. Agree about the politician thing though..
The term 'In my honest opinion' does my ****ing head in ......... why would you give your opinion if it wasn't honest? Agree about the politician thing though..
1: Putin takes in Snowden and thumbs it's nose at the US. 2: The US instigates a revolt in the Ukraine to retaliate. 3: Putin annexes Crimea as a counter move. 4: The US and the West hit Russia with sanctions. whats next? Putin quite likely shuts off the gas to the West ... all a game of chess and a stalemate is the mostly likely outcome .
