The Dutch lad came over at the end of last season for trials with a couple of championship clubs but they couldn't manage to get games sorted so we got first crack in preseason they will both play in the two early season friendlies so S O'D and the team can run the rule over them.

City run the rule over two young stoppers.
Two young goalkeepers are training with the squad this week.

Reice Charles-Cook and Kelle Roos are expected to play some part in the pre-season fixtures against Ashton & Backwell United and Clevedon Town this week.

Both are eager to impress head coach Sean O’Driscoll, who has space in his squad for another goalkeeper.

Frank Fielding has joined from Derby County for an undisclosed fee, but O’Driscoll is after another given Tom Heaton, Dean Gerken and Lewis Carey have all left the club this summer.

Charles-Cook, 19, has come through Arsenal’s Academy and was a regular for the Gunners’ Under-18 side.

Dutchman Roos, 21, has previously played for PSV, Willem II and NEC at youth level. He is now a free agent and previously had a trial at Birmingham City.

Meanwhile, Martin Woods is also training with the club.

A former Doncaster Rovers and Rotherham United midfielder, Woods is out to prove his fitness and O’Driscoll hasn’t ruled out the possibility of a contract offer.
