Mex, do you mind if we open this up and ask why people think as they do? If you want to keep it simple, fair enough.
https://footystats.org/england/premier-league/detailed-stats/form-table Going by this though looks to be W Brom Stoke and either palace or west ham
I see no way back for WBA, they are too far behind now. Stoke do not seem to have the will to fight it through from what I have seen. The third one is more difficult, but I think it might be Huddersfield who really are struggling now after such a good start.
WBA are gone. Hope Stoke go down as our games against them redefine unwatchable. West Ham going down would be a very, very funny episode.
West Brom and Stoke, the third place could well be West Ham because I think Mark Hughes will keep Southampton up. In my dreams Chelsea.
West Brom have nothing about them other than physicality. Ditto Stoke. West Ham have a ridiculous run in. I just cannot see them getting enough points. And they're imploding off the pitch too.
We seem of a mind re WBA and Stoke. I think West Ham are in severe danger because of the poison dripping down from the Directors’ Box onto the pitch. Their ‘fans’ are asking for it, too.
Just seen their fixture list, Southampton next. Then a very tough run, Chelsea, Stoke*, Arsenal, Citehh. Ouch. Feel a bit more comfortable in the table now to be honest.
West Brom and Stoke for the sake of football West Ham to demonstrate that having "proper" owners is important, the porn kings and queen have reduced West Ham to the status and respectability of their "newspaper" I just want us to finish above Bournemouth and Everton
West Brom and Stoke and if they lose there next game away to West Ham then Southampton will take the last place but if they win then West Ham could be in trouble as both WHU and Southampton both have hard run ins
I am sticking with my prediction made from the Herts Mercurypredictionprogram. WBA, Stoke and Southampton. Southampton have Chelsea, Man City and Bournemouth at home; Arsenal, Leicester, Everton and Swansea away. Is there a win or more than a point or two in there?
Thing is with Southampton is that they don't look like scoring - failed to find the net against Stoke/West Ham and Newcastle in recent games for example. You can at least see most of the others on the score sheet although Huddersfield have a poor recent run - they will need to get points off Brighton and at home to us/Everton I feel.
Yes -Huddersfield have games against Man City, Chelsea, Everton and Arsenal. They might need to get something away to Brighton on Saturday.
Championship calling: "Stoke, WBA and the mystery +1, Swansea / Huddersfield or Southampton (who shouldn't be celebrating their win too much just yet)"
