    I hear that a lot too. ''It's not glory supporting because I've supported them all my life." Or most recently "I didn't choose Liverpool cos they won trophies, I just really liked the way they played as a kid". How is that any better?

    It was never shirts years ago it was usually just scarves, mine taller than me and wrapped around my neck a couple of time. Can't remember when I first saw club shirts first being common place but another thing that use to be common was guys with multiple club badges pinned to their coats/jackets/jumpers those small tie pin type badges, sometimes even swapping badges when you went to away games. But like those horrific rattles you use to swing above your head and make a hell of a racket, scarves and badges seemed to have have all but disappeared and replaced by shirts, or sometimes not when Newcastle supporters are involved.

    I can confirm I take no part in getting changed for PE. They go off to their own changing room and are trusted to behave whilst there. Just stating that before this goes further haha.
