I know several of you have an unhealthy shed obsession, so thought you might like this... Hull City superfan Ian Okey has earned his stripes with this Tigers pad... please log in to view this image WHEN a Hull City superfan moved in with his partner, she agreed he could stash his memorabilia at the bottom of the garden. But what was supposed to be a "few football pictures" has turned into a full-on black-and-amber lad's pad, complete with ornaments and a bar. Ian Okey, 47, built the impressive 15ft by 10ft Tiger shed after he moved in with partner Tina at their home in Colwall Avenue in west Hull last June, but admits that his creation was unintentional. "When I first moved in, Tina said I could my put my pictures on the walls, but it didn't feel right for a family home environment," said Ian, who is originally from Driffield. "I said I'd just get a little shed at the bottom of the garden and hang them in there. "I just kept adding bits to it here and there. I ended up putting the bar and pumps in." Ian's Pub Shed, as the cosy man cave is known, features old tickets, photos, shirts, flags and mini models of players, as well as a dash of scooter merchandise – another of his passions. Like the shed itself, his collection of memorabilia built up gradually after he started supporting City in the early 1970s. please log in to view this image Ian said: "I've got bits of everything. "When you're four or five years old, you get one shirt and then you want another one. "I've also got 500 or 600 programmes that I don't know what I'm going to do with. "For me, everything's got a reminder to it and each thing brings back memories. "Wherever I go, I'm always on the lookout for something new." please log in to view this image His shed has been the envy of his visiting mates, many of whom have been inspired to create one of their own. And it has eventually met the approval of Tina. "At first, there was a bit of trepidation with Tina because she didn't know what it would become," Ian said. "But she absolutely loves it now, even though she doesn't like football!" please log in to view this image Ian, a warehouse supervisor, is heading to Wembley to cheer on the Tigers in their play-off final against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday, May 28, and said he will be keeping hold of any reminders from the day. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Hull...tory-29295330-detail/story.html#ixzz49BUnoWas
My lad works at a Barnardos charity shop in Notts and just bought me a signed City ball from season 2011/12. Cost £5
I'm surprised nobody's mentioned the Hull City Tigers poster. Apparently it had an upstairs, but his misses said "either it goes, or I go" So a tier was shed at the loss. Leave it, I've already got my coat on....
