Sometimes its better to keep quiet and leave people wondering if your a fool, other times you are Tony Fernandes.

Careful Bush, The Water Boy Wum is a coming,
Nothing wrong with our Tone, believe in his vision for your club that he has roughly a 20% stake in.
    It's a work in progress.
Those of you that are now apathetic to The whole thing need to stop thinking about our RRRs as we are no longer allowed to care.
Any dissention will be a sign of being a Scum Agent.
You are not worthy unless you follow our Tone verbatum.
There are no, I repeat no I say, talented footballers available.

    The Fers will save us.

Mods, if I repeatedly call out The Waterboy forward he is can you put me out of my misery?

Facts are, we have a almost new team of juniors playing for us, we have a very inexperience manager and management team and we have owners who haven't cut their teeth in football.
As much as we want our team as a whole to achieve, the proof is it's only us fans who are harden and experienced with QPR as our club.
We will still be around long after the current crop are pensioned off.
I think it will be a long season and if the truth be known, most of us knew it was coming.

It's painful, and so so frustrating to be back where we are. To give a positive perspective, if I dare, in football, as in life, sometimes you must go back before you go forward. I'm viewing the next few years as a step back, having learnt lessons from our last step forward so we won't make the same mistakes again.

In my dreams, in a few years we will have built up a squad from good young players, who learnt their trade in the Championship, and were then ready for the challenges and step up to the Premier League. Gotta stay positive guys...it could be a lot worse.

When Tony took charge we were a premier league club with no debt, we are going in only one direction under his stewardship. Falling like a rock.

Tony took charge for the Old Oak development opportunities, that ain't happening now and Tony is now in a making his mind up phase, we can all wait. The minute he sacked Beard after all his **** ups I new the writing was on the wall.

Chairman is a vindictive bastard who is going all out to piss us off this season. Doing a great job.

If this is Tony idea of a dream manager what must the poor sods nightmares be like?

Agreed ............ we must be going to do a proper job of it cause we seem to be 'going backwards' repeatedly.
We keep hearing from the club that we have learnt from the past but then you see the transaction of McCarthy going to Palace cause he couldn't get a regular start, now were about to cop Green going to West Ham ( we get rid of a young up and coming keeper and then let the older one go as well)....................... if this happens, I've pretty much lost all faith in our so called experts, management.

    Spot on.
We need to remain positive. Anyone who expected us to be pushing for promotion/playoffs has under-estimated the damage done to the club since Mark Hughes' era. Bad decisions, poor choice of tactics and mis-management top to bottom.
We can't realistically expect that to be turned around within a year.

This is a great example of how the club operates, it is like listening to The Tories blaming Labour for leaving the economy in ruins, telling us we need to go back before we can go forward. What ever happened to the bright future we were being served up by Fernandes? Excuse after excuse Tony, accept the fact that YOU are the problem. To admit you was niave is not acceptable and now your latest brainwave is to employ ex R's because they apparently care about the club, appoint a yes man as manager and sign a bunch of young half talented players eager to play at a higher level but not proven enough to make the step up. I cant get excited about this latest 5 year plan

I think we need some perspective here, we are only two games into the season, 44 to go and a lot of things can happen between now and May. We are at last cutting our cloth accordingly, clearly we couldn't continue to throw excessive amounts of money at under performing players.
Whether Tone is your cup of tea or not is a matter of personal opinion, but I'd rather have him than some deluded lunatic who just happens to have a spare few quid in his back pocket such as they have at Hull and Cardiff.
As for where we are now, well it is what it is, no point in dwelling on what may have been, hopefully we are putting the groundwork in place for a brighter future. That's why we support this great club of ours, if you want to follow a club that wins trophies and league titles the go and support Chelsea or Man Utd., personally I'm very happy where I am.

Whilst we can all bleat about what's wrong with the club, the owners, management, players, physio etc; the reality is we are where we are. Get used to it, nothing miraculous will happen that will suddenly change how we all feel.

Remember when we got relegated down to Division 2 and how long we took to get back up, with all the tribulations in between. Yes, I too would love to be challenging for promotion or trophies, but we reasonably can't expect this to happen in an instant.

If you truly support QPR get behind the team and keep at it through thick or thin. This is the mark of true supporters not those simply yearning for glory.

Agreed. If we were purely glory hunters we'd all support the scum or filthchester united.

I have supported QPR for the last 40 years and am anything but a glory hunter. If you don't want QPR to achieve as a club why don't you go and watch your local non league team? ****ing glory hunter my ****ing arse, YOUR expectations are too low. I BELIEVE AND EXPECT QPR TO PLAY EXCITING FOOTBALL, NOT THE DIRE CRAP THAT HAS BEEN SERVED UP IN THE LAST 3 + SEASONS. You make me laugh "support your team through thick and thin" I want to be entertained, provided an escape from the real world..... a rollercoaster ride that doesn't always end on a bloody anticlimax.

Happen in an instant? It took us 15 years. That should have been punishment enough but asking fans to show patience having been thrown right back to the beginning and expecting them to go through all those trials and tribulations all over again without a murmur is too much IMO.

At least if Fernandes was gotten rid of we'd have our pound of flesh

We haven't played decent football since the end of their era. They got us up without heaping huge amounts of debt on us. Fernandes era has been an unmitigated disaster (Wembley excluded of course).

Spot on. All of that but especially the last sentence.
Reckon a few on here would be more gratified following Chelsea. Seriously.
