I suppose that the main difference would be that he was actually there when the alleged wrongdoing happened, Ensil. Unless he tried to stop it, wasn't aware what was going on or they didn't cross the line, I'd suggest that he's responsible for their actions. He's rich though, so I doubt that the court will see it that way!
As he's rich PNP, I have little doubt that the Cameroon court will see it whichever way he wants them to - for a price, of course.
I think the employer would be liable if his employees were acting under instruction from that employer.
