This track will suit Ferrari. So I'm going vettel. If not it might be the always smiling kimi Raikkonen
Let's say Vettel. But then nothing seems to be going to plan right now. Hamilton's Mercedes could follow Vettel through the S's in Austin and that was supposed to be impossible.
I'm tempted to say Vettel as well. He needs this. I would say Hamilton would settle for finishing behind him but I think Austin put that myth to bed as well! So Ham will try, but I don't think they'll have it here.
It's a long drag to that first corner. Pole could be a disadvantage unless you have some serious boot in the back.
I just think Vettel has nothing to lose, Lewis doesn’t need to finish, Ricc’s Harmony is about to get disrupted and Max.....well who knows? Ohh and Bottas, the widest roadblock in history (except for maybe the Truli train), under pressure for poor performances from everybody outside of Merc but the “best teammate” Lewis has ever had.
I've just remembered how last year ended. Absolute bedlam on the radio waves and Ricciardo finishing 5th on the road bit getting a podium after Vettel and Max told teacher on each other.
Was it Mexico last year that Vettel had his radio rant at Charile? Made Max's comments from Austin look very mild........
