Last weeks home game had a good vocal atmosphere and it was also nice to hear the woodlands making some noise which brings me to the point about our crowds or lack of them.when we first moved to adams park the woodlands used to be as vocal as the home terrace, since the new stand has been there that has taken some of the atmosphere away,on this thought if we do get to move to a new ground will we keep the terrace or will it be an all seater.i am a season ticket holder in the terrace but if it was an all seater i wouldnt bother getting a season ticket because you are then stuck sitting next to the same people all season and they might not like it if you are singing all the game .at least where we stand in the terrace we all make a load of noise during the game and no one moans at us for vocally backing our team, its just a thought but could this be one of the reasons the crowds are so small considering how well the team are doing on the pitch.i look forward to hearing your views on this/

Alright Rocky, I've got a season ticket in the Frank Adams Upper and there's definately been a better atmosphere in there lately. We're not the noisiest of fans at home but the players are really showing commitment and desire lately and I think we're responding to that and getting behind them more vocally. The terrace is the key for that, it always triggers noise from the Frank Adams if the terrace is in full voice. Two big home games coming up this week so lets hope this trend continues.

Yeah. I too have a season ticket in the Frank Adams stand and quite honestly some weeks the atmospher has been dire. Last few weeks though have been much better and I agree once the terrace starts then it does encourage the others. Can't make Tuesday, but really hope Saturday's game gets a larger growd and the noise from the terrace and stands continues. I also notice in the Frank Adams that individuals get on the backs of players from the very first kick of the game. I don't like to hear this and must affect confidence!

You're right about certain individuals in the Frank Adams, H112. Some people in there only seem to turn up so they can whinge all game. I wouldn't mind if it worked the other way too and they were cheering and shouting when things are going well, but they just sit there in silence sulking because they've got nothing to moan about!

IMO crowds are down because of the following:

    The recession
    Over inflated ticket prices
A lack of goals at AP despite decent football
We're in league 2 (which people have seen before and had enough of)
    The new stadium debate
    The appalling ticketing system
The ownership and actions of Steve Hayes (don't underestimate this one)

I always used to go in the terrace with my mates when I was younger. But you're right, the atmosphere in the old Woodlands was much better before we built the all seater stand and the atmosphere was lost. However, it is an excellent stand with good facilities and views and it's good to be able to watch the early premier league kick off in the concourse before the game. Maybe they could introduce an area of the stand for people that want to sing etc.

ticket pricing is an issue and the recession but the ticket office is a joke and hardly encourages new or casual fans to return to adams park.wandermagic i agree it is an excellent stand but i just feel that we lost a lot of atmosphere when it was built.on the ticket office issue thankfully i get any cup games added to my season ticket to save the hassle of waiting for ages to answer pointless questions before you can purchase, but i have seen people getting into the ground after kick off because of the delays and that is not good enough.

Block P of the Frank Adams stand is centre stage for moaning at individuals, the latest being Kevin Betsy, one of our longest servants and best players. My Nan has been sitting in the middle of Block P since A.P opened, I don't know how she puts up with it! It seems that some idiots have to pick a target for abuse each season otherwise they are not satisfied. Woodman was last season's choice and it seems Betsy has now taken on the mantle. Please stop this moronic abuse of players! It isn't going to help their confidence atall.

On a brighter note hopefully if the team keeps up the good form around Xmas (and not throw it away like we have seen before in 06/7 and nearly under PT!) the crowd will continue getting behind the players and the atmosphere will keep improving

I think it was only 1887 Til I Die and Pugwash that swallowed down the old reverend.
I reckon Bertie has fobbed us off for a weekend at home with Master Bates and Seaman Staines
