This is brilliant. I'm very interested in psychology and mentality in general. To hear him talking about removing fear makes me think of what Stokes/McCullum are doing for English Cricket. Absolute conviction in principles and creating an environment when failure is ok, as long as you express yourselves and don't take the easy option and learn from those experiences to become an improved version of yourself. If we do get promoted, this view of being the best version of ourselves and not worrying about the opposition might be naïve, but I suspect he will stick to these principles regardless as they go to the core of who he is. Fascinating interview, thanks so much for posting.
Thank yoou so much for posting this! I love the guy's attitude immensely and the fact that he is not ruled by "fear." One aspect cuaght my attention being his need to see a psychologist and the importance that mental health plays in our lives.
