I was told a year ago (shared it off line) that Muir and Co were nothing more than get-rich-quick frontmen and chancers, wanting to come in, turn a quick profit on promotion, and scarper. All talk about "5 year plans" was bollox then and is still bollox now. The Aussies have done real, lasting damage to the credibility, reputation and well being of our football club. Regardless of whether Duchatelet is a tool - and we all know that he is - you don't walk into a Ferrari showroom with 50p in your pocket, and then spend nearly 2 years pretending that you would love to buy the shiny red model.

Just our luck that while other clubs such as Wigan and Villa have been taken over by low key, understated and professional buyers, we caught the attention of these utter chancers.

 

With all due respect, Charlton are not a Ferrari.
