The team wore black armbands for Chaplow.

    Saints players wore black armbands during the Stoke game due to Chaplow's partner losing her baby when she was 8 months pregnant.

    It is also the reason for Lambert wearing the shirt with teddy on it. Teddy was the name the Chaplow's had named the baby.


    My thoughts are with them both.

    I think the club, the players and the fans have handled personal tragedies very well. Not a lot you can do for someone who is heart broken but showing you care is never a bad thing.

    Dreadful news, so sorry to hear that.

    On a positive note sometimes it does seem like the club is one big family though.

    I know it doesn't sound good, but I love this photo. If you could distill how I feel about the "togetherness" of our squad into one photo, then this is it. Shame it is such a sad event that provoked it.
