Why would McInnes want to change the team from last Saturday? 3-4-3 seemed to be quite an attacking formation and apart from yet another moment of "Switching off at a corner" defending, we limited Ipswich to very little in front of our goal. But I somehow think that that formation was devised/used solely for Ipswich and I would not be surprised to see change(s) in personnel and format. By the way, Pearson did even not figure on the bench last Saturday. Is he injured?
Has to play it like an away game, and be defensive so should start with the same team barring injuries 01 Heaton 02 Foster 04 Fontaine 17 Cunningham 19 McManus 39 Bates 14 Skuse 21 Anderson 27 Adomah 38 Danns 09 Stead Substitutes 22 Gerken 03 Wilson 26 Bryan 08 Kilkenny 25 Elliott 07 Baldock 16 Davies if Woolford fit could bring him in place of Kilkenny Davies for Fonts isnt an option shiny MERRY CHRISTMAS
heaten Foster (gulp)Danny Wilson Mcmanus Cunningham Adomah Skuse Danns Anderson Baldock Davies Imo our best team, and thats actualy a strong team and can easily be mid table.. Mciness's team Heaten Foster Fontaine Mcmanus Cunningham Adomah Skuse Danns Stead Taylor Baldock
We might see Davies start tomorrow, probably not used on Saturday due to the amount of games over the christmas break, the same as as Saturday with Davies in place of Stead for me
You lot are mental, if we play 4-4-2 it will end bad, then you'll moan that McInnes went 4-4-2 Similar formation to Saturday should do fine
Hey guys, slightly off topic I know. But do any of you know if away fans are able to get to the away team coach for autographs and the like? Cheers.
Suggest a different tactic then. Mciness has tried nearly every formation in the book with the same outcome over and over. 4-4-2 everyone can relate to.
Cheers. Thats good to know. I think we might be bringing a good number of fans, so should be a noisy day. Are there any recommendations as to where to park. I have heard mention of a cricket ground nearby, would that be suitable?
Follow signs to the ground from junc 18 M5 go under suspension bridge following signs to airport, when approach the ground you will see signs to the football parking If you wanted to go to the cricket ground, carry onto junc 19 on the M5 and come off towards Gordano services exit past the services and follow road all the way once you come down a **** off hill you will see the cricket club parking, but it is on a field so getting out is tricky as it becomes a mud pit.
Jon Stead does a fantastic job up front, but someone needs to play of him, personally think Baldock is the man that can play of the shoulder with his pace and can get in behind the defence.
McInnes usually makes changes whatever - It's just what he does and anyone's guess who'll start today. He doesn't have a clue what his best team is or what make up of squad is required to play Championship. Otherwise he'd have spent on central defenders and not Baldock and Davies to sit on the bench. Mental.
