I knew a couple of weeks ago mate but it went to be a none starter so said nowt. Once Donald went thought I would bring the name up.
While you're on, have you heard something about people coming in and quoting for renovation of the hospitality areas, BCB, etc.
I've just taken a look at RTG, on their 'Donald gone' thread, and couldn't find it ... ... perhaps I've missed it but they seem to stop people discussing all kinds of subjects on there. It started off with the usual witless losers, like Fetch Fletch, jumping all over Bob then vanishing when his info was confirmed. There really are some cowardly sacks of shyte on there ... ... dunno how the decent lads tolerate them.
Suprised you still look over there. Been many year for me now. Loads better. Be the same old over there , talking ass, taking snipes at anyone who dare have a honest discussion. I know I am still not everyone's cup of tea but honest opinions are at least respected and valued over here.
Not very often but I do have a lot of mates on there like Grumpy, if I need to check some financial/procedural stuff I go over. And a mate, who knows Methven well, posts the odd cryptic cracker Your problem is that people don't like honesty or thinking anyone knows something they don't, and can't. The vast majority on here actually go to games, or love the club, there's only a handful who are bitter and weird ... ... there's dozens like that on RTG sadly.
If the rumours are true and the Qatari's have been successful in buying Man U does anybody think sir Jim may have another look at investing in us as was talked about before
Why would we want him to I'm very happy with Kyril's family, who have given the impression that we'll definitely be doing this 'the right way' . . . . not the 'sugardaddy' way. When we need further investment (promotion ?) it'll be there
Perhaps there's an argument that Ineos sporting interests are no more than sportwashing, being a gigantic petrochemicals company.
