Fair few roles advertised at the club. Including a maintenance job, looks like the lift will get fixed http://safc.com/club/jobs?eid=28520...7J3FdYVG4q7FO6DQdksBk6aE5Iul6rvwoGciT7_m8SBx5
We should be getting some news next week from the club on signings. Also, two of the four we offered contracts have refused.
One will be Wyke which I'm not too fussed about to be honest, but I'll go left field on the other one and say it's Hume.
O'Nien one of few players we've had in the last decade to have earned the right to move on and be remembered fondly, IMO. He doesn't owe us anything.
You're right, he doesn't, but he strikes me as an intelligent lad, who might recognise that the type of club he could attract will not have the potential that we have here. For that reason, I'm guessing Wyke and Hume to leave.
All this talk about broken lifts at the academy, have to admit I genuinely thought it was some sort of joke, maybe the were broke, then fixed, or broke twice, but fixed, or summat. Just found out yesterday they've been broke for ages!
Remembered fondly for what? Smirking as his penalty was saved v Lincoln in the pizza cup? And smiling at everything. Hopefully he does one.
Maybe for giving 100% every game, for playing out of position for vast majority of the season, for winning more motm awards than anyone else, for his attitude on the pitch, for his attitude off the pitch?
