Yes, as far as I'm concerned that is, he pmed me about the 3 players we signed in the morning, 2 signed that day and he said Stewart was up the next day to look at set up etc and was spot on about that too.
EFL Salary cap revoked Takeover announced? Shaun and them lot at SAFC Fan TV still going at it. My it has been an eventful few days for Sunderland Twitter.
I have to sat @Smug in Boots info was spot on, he didn't just say Tuesday. He said Tuesday would be the day ITK’s would get the nod
From my understanding, the Shaun lad wanted to be above his station, got denied, cried and slagged them off, and now it's gone public in a thrilling, and very entertaining manner.
Haven't seen it all, but looks like one of the main contributors has left and both he and SAFC TV are treating it like Jim White has left Sky Sports with various tweets "announcing" things and talking about "being unable to agree terms etc"
Salary Cap snippet.... Taken from the BBC today The English Football League's plans for salary caps in Leagues One and Two have been withdrawn following a decision by an independent arbitration panel. Third tier clubs would have been given a £2.5m ceiling for salaries and fourth tier sides £1.25m under the proposals. But a claim by the Professional Footballers' Association that the caps were "unlawful and unenforceable" was upheld by the panel. EFL clubs will now discuss the situation at meetings later this week. The panel ruled that by introducing a cap the league was in breach of the constitution of the Professional Football Negotiating and Consultative Committee, which includes representatives of the PFA, the EFL, the Premier League and the Football Association. "Like everyone involved in football, the PFA wants to see sustainable clubs at all levels. We also recognise the huge economic pressure that clubs have come under due to the Covid-19 crisis," the players' union said in a statement.
