Maybe the hotel will fund Donald’s share of the club. Imagine if he’d managed to implement that plan he talked about on a podcast a couple of years ago :emoticon-0102-bigsm

    Any rumblings from the ITKs?

And I'm not talking about a dodgy curry last night.

They should set up a helpline. If you’ve been affected by some of the things you’ve witnessed at this football club call free on 0800......

It wouldn't be free though...be premium rate. On hold for 20 minutes, then told the person who normally answers has been laid off.

My Grandpa was one of those generation who went to Roker Park one week and SId James Park the other. Thankfully, when the time came, he made the right choice

In the 60s that is what you did, footie in the morning, match in the afternoon, as some supported Sunderland and some Newcastle.
At Roker Park, using the Fulwell End kids section, when we scored you ran in the pitch round the goal said Hi to Monty and watched yourself on Shoot Sunday lunchtime. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Never made a conscious decision. My older brothers made the decision for me. I remember nervously watching the Grandstand vidi printer as a kid waiting for their results, not having a clue what the score was. My earliest memory of proper supporting them was listening to the radio and crying when Paul Hardyman missed the play off penalty against Newcastle. Cry with laughter now, nearly took John Burridge's head off in his follow up! <laugh>

I’m not too concerned about that. I’m more worried about Abdul the lift technician. Just hope he keeps his job.
