    If anyone has any doubts re the takeover, this transfer window feels very different. Feels professional with no long drawn out weeks on end pursuits of players with clubs taking the piss with fees.

    I was in hospital, with a broken leg, about 3 years ago.

    I went back 20 years and compiled a list of ex-players, excluding keepers, who'd ever scored against us.

    It was only 16%,

    I also found that Ameobi was far from being a Mackem slayer, he had a very poor record against us tbh.

    The new Burnley owner was interviewed, and fawned over, on the BBC but is now looking like another Donald & Methven outfit.

    "Interesting talk today about owners of newly acquired Premier League scrabbling around to raise £30m (by trying to sell equity stake at far higher valuation). Cash needed to repay debt owed to previous owner. Crazy business."
