I don’t think he can play up top on his own Wyke he basically needs the ball to be right then he’s a good finisher. His touch and hold up is very clumsy (especially given how many fouls he gives away) he is quick when he gets going but that’s the problem he’s slow off the mark so it’s east to mark him if he’s playing up top alone. Why I think OB is playing basically to get us up the pitch. But the 4222 leaves us with no control of the game
I know we paid for Wyke, but would Wyke have cost 300k with 6 months left of his deal during a pandemic?
Doesn't talk to them does he, never bellows "Mine!" and takes controls he just fannies around and hopes they pick up on his telepathic communication. I'm sure he's a nice bloke but he's far too quiet and indecisive for me.

Gooch is a much better fit in this team in my opinion and changed it for the better today. Power blows hot and cold but can definitely deliver a good ball. My problem is our midfield is just a little to slow and the passing game is so off. We don't boss the other team like others do. Change that and i think we will do much much better
https://the72.co.uk/218290/efl-wait...re-completion-of-dreyfus-sunderland-takeover/ Hope this is a load of bollocks mind.
We have played attacking footbal at times, you just have to watch some of the goals and see how many players are busting a gut to get into the box. We arent going to be attacking for 90mins the other teams are always going to have spells of pressure
It's none of the EFL's business. They can't insist on minority shareholders funding a club. They can require proof of funds but that isn't an issue based on shareholding against funds. Louis-Dreyfus, as majority shareholder, has long since passed the EFL test.
I just made a call to someone much more cleverer than what I am ... ... he says your sense of smell is to be commended. As I thought it's 'not within the EFL's gift to make these demands' as he put it. I'll have to Google that phrase tbh Edit: checked and I'm still not sure! "Within the gift of" is a formal expression of little or no general use, as far as I know. The Crown decides who can live in those which are within its gift, in other words, the Crown's to give. Those people might be former servants or courtiers."
Class so if Donald and sartori say no, the efl would then say no to KLD and leave It in the hands of Donald and JS who have said the can’t fund it, none starter, but then Again it is the EFL
He's a very posh legal chap who finishes every sentence with 'What?' I rarely have a clue what he means tbh
