I think SD would have first refusal but it's Sartori who's brought KLD in so if Sartori wanted to sell now and Donald was going to buy then I can't see KLD going ahead. But, that won't happen as if Sartori did indeed want out I think this deal would be done as is and once in place he could then sell to existing shareholders and KLD could then buy from Sartori as the original 'first refusal' to SD would be defunct.

FWIW, I believe it's all a bag of ****e and someone has got mixed up about the original deal before KLD upped his stake to 59% and with Sartori remaining on 20%.

Sartori: "I want out, I'm selling my 20%".
Donald : "Here's your quid back"!

This why would he get rid if the shares that cost him a quid in the verge of a takeover and a chance of success for the club and profit for him?

Unless he has got to the shops and realised he forgot his quid for the trolley. Desperate times then, tell him the key off a tin of corn beef work somebody we might save the takeover then.

When we drive up these days, after the passing of me Mam, we either stop off at Durham or go through Allendale Cottages, Medomsley and Chopwell.

After seeing the various posts, from you lads, we'll have a stop off at Consett next time.

I was telling Mrs Smug how I worked on a rag & bone cart, around Consett, Leadgate, Shotley Bridge, etc ...

    ... I'd have been 7 or 8 years old.

The rag man, Tommy Southern, would stop the cart at the Hat & Feathers and leave me 'in charge of the horse' while he went in for a pint.

He'd usually come out backwards, fighting some steel worker or miner, and shout at me to start up the horse <laugh>

Wolves have accepted an offer from an unnamed League One club for highly-rated midfielder Terry Taylor. Its only off tw@tter. Unlikely to be us I would have thought. Sanderson should be able to find out though

Smug, I knew my memory wasn't that bad.

One of your posts was mentioned on a Leadgate Facebook page a few days ago in relation to Tommy Southern, I thought I recognised the name when you posted it here. I will send you something in a PM rather than posted it on here tonight.

    That's very much appreciated mate.

My kids and grandkids don't believe I was collecting scrap at Consett Iron Company at 7 years old.

I was like driving into the jaws of hell with smoke, molten metal and red coloured madmen stripped to the waist ...

... but the carthorse never blinked <laugh>

What's with all the cold feet posts about the takeover? Has something happened or is it just Chinese whispers? Seems very strange indeed and iny opinion it won't be announced until the window shuts because clubs/agents will want extra money because of the wealthy owner. It's not rocket science is it just makes sense
