Speakman laid things out in great detail and that's all we need to hear ... .... unless RAWA are asking for sworn statements. I just believe they've been hurt by accusations of being in Donald's pocket and want to make it look like they mean business this time.
My favourite local pub is being taken over in the new year. I wouldn't dream of giving the new landlord a ring, before he has even reopened, and demand to know whether he is gonna reinstate quiz night or not.
Yes, there have been changes to personal and I'm sure we all agree that can only be a good thing. As for who set the wheels in motion, it is purely speculation as to who instigated this but the ownership at this time remains still in Donald, Methven and Sartoris. Until its completed It is in Limbo until its announced. The statement from the Club on Christmas Eve for me was a direct response to the RAWA request for new date to meet the Club owners. There is nothing in the RAWA statement that could be construed as negative or condecending.
"We're sure our new owner will have done his homework on Sunderland supporters already. Nevertheless, we hope to meet with him soon, where we will do our bit to help him understand the passion and demands of our fans. That's as condescending as it gets mate and makes us look like Mags who believe they're 'more than fans'. They think a man who's steeped in football, had done due diligence and invested millions needs a bunch of fans to explain what the supporters want. He's already spelled it out as clearly as possible. P. S. you'll notice it's addressed to the new owner so perhaps they should be told it's all in limbo.
The appointments have been made by KLD man, there's no doubt about that. Unless you're going to try and claim it was Don that was responsible for them, which is patently ridiculous. Again, you're wrong about the statement, it's got nowt to do with the club. I even provided a link to it but I'm guessing you never bothered reading it.
Agree KLD is doing his bit already and looks like he has everything under control and doesn't need any help from anybody on any fans forum
I'd be happy to see that but interested parties should be opted in to help with organisation, finance and marketing. We need to make as much of the club self financing as possible.
You'd think that would do the trick mate wouldn't you. Sadly, RAWA are looking like a Tyronausaurus Rex defence squad ... ... vital at the time but looking quite irrelevant now the dinosaurs have f**cked off
I know this question has been asked before, but how does tm investment impact on minority shareholders? Do they has to invest in line with the majority shareholder investment? If they don't invest, how does that impact on the value of their sharehding?
I’d imagine they discussed and agreed an approach to that during negotiation and I’d be surprised if Donald or Methven will be investing any extra capital. KLD is likely ok with this?
The message is directed at Louis-Dreyfus but posted on their own little website ... ... how does that work? Or is it actually directed at their members and they're only pretending it's going to KLD. Whatever the case I think people have the right to know.
And just like that, the Chronicle come out with this belter. “The key questions still to be answered about Kyril Louis-Dreyfus' takeover at Sunderland“ Just **** off you black and white ****s. I can’t wait for everything to get back to normal, no not because I want to go to pubs or gyms, but it means they can go and pester Ashley in a restaurant or shout at shops that are open
Absolutely dreadful 'journalism' ... ... ffs, it's so tragic it's actually made me laugh out loud as I read it. Here's just one of the fascinating insights from our heroic investigative journalist. "The exact details were shrouded in secrecy, with no information given as to the interest rate or the term of the loan." Unlike most loans whereby everyone knows the exact details I hope you're reading this you absolute balloon, you're shyte at your job man, give it up.
I think it will depend on how KLD decides he wants to invest - a loan to the club he (as majority shareholder can decide unilaterally) if he wants to do a “rights call” (where all shareholders are asked to put cash in) then that is likely to be dealt with in a shareholders agreement which I imagine would have been agreed when he bought the shares. Just based on what I’ve seen in other (not football) deals...
