S.A.F.C. - the future

On this great day for my beloved club I have been casting my mind back to yesteryear.
Went to a game with my dad at Blackpool, Jim Baxter played for us.
Slim Jim was fouled by Hugh Fisher, Baxter chased him the length of the field and kicked him up the arse, proper football days.
Wonder if any other 606 guys were there.
Merry Christmas all.

 

Massive thanks to Smug, Marcus, Hawayatt Earp, Prehab and Wheatsheaf for putting your necks on the line over the many months gone by, and giving us mere mortals hope. I also raise a glass to all of the people like me who have taken on board everything you have said and supported you while the Neg Heads have bitched,whinged, moaned and tried their utmost to discredit you all. **** 'Em!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is a fantastic night for everyone on here who genuinely lives and breathes for our great club. Perhaps now we can say 'It's the hope that I can stand"

I don’t want to look again mate, how any genuine SAFC fan can be down in the dumps on a day like today with this news is beyond my comprehension think I noticed one from Ashley in can’t remember who the underwhelmed comment was from

 

Went to Fulham in the Baxter era, Easter Monday, 2-0 down in no time, Baxter scored twice then we threw it away in last five minutes, typical Sunderland.
What a player Slim Jim was.

ooooh the boilermakers...pre-mecca on a friday and pre-match on a sarrada (when we had proppa 3:00 kick offs!!!)

only stripper that sticks in my mind was 'big babs', first and only, real life black girl i have seen neckid and she was a 'big 'un'
last one on usually got started as the lads started to stream out to go to the ground, always a few young lads waiting outside for a quick flash through the now wide open emergency doors.

 

Well full of drink, a very Merry Christmas everybody, thank you @Prehab26 @Smug in Boots and the rest who’ve kept us in the loop, it’s you lads I’m chuffed to bits for the most, have a good one

Thanks to Prehab for honestly trying to keep us updated amid constant flak from some quarters and to Magnus who appeared to know what he was on about.
Let’s hope we get under the skin of the new man and he takes us to where we wanna be.
