After supporting the lads since the mid 50’s I have seen many a poor player in our colours but never a fullback as bad as him.
I am also, like you entitled to my own opinion which is the point of a message board.
Never criticise a fan for their opinions .
There is performing bad, every player does at times, but grabbing a players shoulders in the penalty area is schoolboy stuff, he went to do it again in the second half.

Thats the problem with some folk mate, I thought he was having a decent game until he gave the penalty away.
Don't get me wrong it was stupid and unnecessary but I think people get annoyed when we don't win games like that but I think its a bit harsh to start making stupid comments over one mistake.
At the end of the day they came with a plan to frustrate us and will be over the moon with a draw. We just didn't move the ball quick enough to break them down.
I think it will come it will just take time

I would never say someone was making stupid comments because that’s a personal insult.
I pay my money and like you I’m entitled to my opinion and I stick to what I said.

We only had one person test positive so while a few others who had been in contact had to go into isolation, can you really call off a game because one member of staff has tested positive? If it's five or six, fair enough, but this is enough of a grey area that if it was me making the decision, I wouldn't run the risk of possible sanctions, I'd play the game.

This is in the EFL's court imo, they're the governing body and should have something in place for this. Just saying we'll leave the decision up to you and then investigate you, without giving any hint on what they'll be judging you on is really poor governance.

Totally agree but then again I think we all realise how poor the governance of the EFL is

I apologise as I didn't mean it as a personal insult, I am a believer that no ones opinion is wrong because at the end of the day its their opinion so it can't be wrong.
I did think it was a bit harsh but as you say that's your opinion.
Maybes need to think before I open my mouth in future mate

He also said he doesn't know who is to blame but will carry out a post mortem and it will come out.

I know what the issue is. Safe to say the club wouldn't have passed an investigation

Whatever the rights and wrongs I think it's fair to say the club is in a huge transitional stage, on and off the pitch.

I'm happy that we played last night and hope we just battle through the games. Players will get game time and get to grips with the game plans and systems.

I'd hate to see us with our famous 'games in hand' ...

... just grit your teeth, get stuck in and do your best.

Im with this, how many times have we cancelled games because of international call ups then had the dreaded games in hand which we didnt win!

People look at games in hand and automatically see 3 points.......not always the case in reality though

Which is fine, but how come after 8 months of this ****, those ****ing idiots haven’t decided what the sanctions will be. It’s pretty straight forward, followed guidelines its approved, didnt and you will be hit with a fine up to £.....,/game forfeited 3-0 which I think is a precedent on matches which don’t go ahead. However, again everyone is making exceptions during this pandemic, people working from home, furloughed etc. It isn’t the clubs fault that some players went somewhere, they could have caught it in Poundland for all we know. If I catch it, the company doesn’t get penalised. The EFL itself are not fit for purpose as far as I am concerned. Let’s not forget, they curtailed a whole season because of the safety, now they want to punish clubs. ****ers the ****ing lot of them and Stewart Donald went and employed one of the ****ers.
