    Agreed. SD wants to sell and step back from control of the club. Our new ownership isn't hostile to him and so he is happy fronting their direction until they officially have the driving seat themselves.

    If we get to Wembley then I would still expect to see SD in the Director's box either because he still had shares or as a guest.

    Yep but until that happens people are entitled to think there is no takeover due to the lies and bullshit that has been spouted by the club for about 2.5 years.
    Now we hear dialogue with the EFL, could mean anything.

    my optimistic view is that it’s with the EFL but at the same time KLD is negotiating to buy an even bigger slice from CM and SD - perhaps giving them a slightly overinflated amount, to get rid of them now and take a larger percentage. There’s a chance the club and KLD have seen the negative reaction to their continued involvement and have a renewed effort to avoid it. If the money was right there’s every chance they’d leave surely.

    Not with the new ownership. Doubt Donald can lose a million a month and be at no risk of administration though, nightmare for him. He must have everything crossed that the takeover goes ahead.

    this for me is the reason it will go ahead. And the longer it takes the more chance there is that KLD gets more of the club.
