I disagree swarbs, another player would have scored the goals, not as many but still scored, so we would have only been 1 point worse off
Towards the end of that article they point out they couldn't be bothered working out the maths correctly e.g. if a team loses a game without the goals from their top scorer they take away the points from the winner but don't bother giving the points to their opponents, so it's hardly surprising that most teams have no change or little change in league position.
