Having watched Swansea for the first time since I dont know when, I must say how much I respect what you giuys did at the Bridge today. I turned up, confident we were guaranteed the points, but you lot did youselves proud and in the second half I thought for a while you were going to make it a bit of fingernail biting stuff. Thankfully we got through it.
I've just watched Brendan Rodgers on CTV and he said he was hoping for more, but we all have a great regard for him at SB and I'm sure he'll get more elsewhere before the seasons out!
As far as I'm concerned the Swans are PL material and long may you stay!:emoticon-0150-hands

Thanks for the words. I expected us to play a bit better, but not a bad day at all.
Looking forward to the return fixture

Shame we didn't get at you in the second half abut lessons will be learned. Despite what some said leading up to the match I think you'll be in the top 4 again easily. Still confident we'll stay up too.

I thought we passed it around well at times, as usual. But didn't create anything like good enough in the final third where it matters. Some of the defending for your goals was horrible to witness. Missing Caulker through injury didn't help, but class told in the end. I'm still hoping we'll stay up, think we've got enough quality, but desperately need decent cover at the back!! Good luck for the rest of the season & thanks for your kind words. <cheers>

the telling point was Chelsea are one of the top 8 sides in the world and we are rookies still learning and building for the future, The first season is the hardest because nobody knows what to expect from us and we don't actually know ourselves. The fixture makers was not exactly kind to us with playing 3 top sides away in our first 6 matches but after saying that it has put us in the deep end so to speak and I'm sure Brendan and the lads have learned a lot from teams like Chelsea....There are no easy games in the premiership we know that but there are games where we will fancy our chances. I still think we are short on quality in one or two positions and i hope we can bring in 3 or 4 players in when the window opens to allow us to stay up. All we need is for three teams to have a worse season than us and that is the only thing we can say that we have a great chance in achieving...
