The "exclusive" in this morning's Sun as yet another work of fiction by Mark Irwin. The headline on the front page of the website claims "Anton Speaks Out". However all he says is that he's been concentrating on the Spurs game on Sunday. There then follows a couple of quotes from an "insider" and a "source" talking about the John Terry affair. I tried to post two comments on the site pointing this out, but they were never posted. Strange that. Yet yesterday they allowed some racist comments made by people attacking Les Ferdinand implying that Les would say anything to get Terry removed so that a black man (Rio Ferdinand) could once again captain the country. A black conspiracy! It should be noted that most of Mark Irwin's published "stories" have been positive stories about Chelsea and it becomes obvious that Irwin is a Chelsea supporter or at least spends most of his time brown nosing around Stamford Bridge. So his angle is very obvious, and the fact that any criticism of Chelsea or remarks against his favourite team or players are censored shows it even more plainly. So much for a Free Press. Irwin (a Chelsea supporter) writes a story, makes up quotes and hides behind censorship to stop anyone contradicting him.

Firstly, Where is the proof he supports Chelsea? Secondly, where is the proof his articles about Chelsea are always positive? Having done some brief background research on this guy, it seems a large number of his articles are covering Chelsea, he is probably instructed to do so. But he has also had several articles praising West Ham and Spurs. Why would he be as positive of Chelsea's two biggest rivals if he were a Chelsea fan? I think you are reading too much into this. Stories sell papers, the headline "Anton Speaks Out" instantly grabs your attention.
