It could well be the wrong decision and, if we had loads of money available, I would have no hesitation going with a better option. Just think that Pope is not going to want to play 2nd fiddle to a new guy and the new guy definitely isn't and rotating them is not a sensible option with goalkeepers. So we either make a decision that Pope is done, and look to sell him, then bring in an upgrade or do what we are doing.
