Apologies if this was discussed in depth when the form was released, but it was actually not a bad warts and all film. The rehearsals and the versions of their songs produced much better music than the concerts. Alan Wren is like the Curtis Davies of the Stone Roses and is a better singer than Ian Brown.

I saw when it was released. The rehearsals are goldust. All great musicians who fit perfectly. I've heard whispers they're recording a album that should be out in 2015.
Not sure how after IB calls AW a **** live on stage after AW storms off, and the rest of the tour is cancelled, how it suddenly moves forward to them all pals again live onstage at Heaton Park. Shane Meadows missed a trick there. ($$$$$$?)
There was about 7 or 8 shows between Amsterdam and Heaton Park. The structure is a little bit lopsided. It should of been totally chronological. I don't think Meadows had the best access. All the interviews where from the past.
Heston Park was a decent day out. For those of us who are very late 30's early 40's it meant more. The music scene at the back end of the 80's was pretty decent, at least combined with the look of the time. 'Twas the start of the hoodie
I think it was IB who wanted him to do a solo music video. But then the reunion happened. Squire and Reni are very private people and I guess it's not there sort of thing.
I think most of the music of that period hasn't stood the test of time, the daft threads and haircuts certainly haven't. Most of the casualties around town seem to date from that era judging by the look of em.
I've never got into the Happy Monday's or the Inspiral Carpets. The Charlatans, Primal Scream and Jesus and Marychains have released some great stuff.
