It doesn't seem that long ago that they were cyber rivals, but they seem to have kept an eye on what's been going on here, and seem quite positive about our chances. http://oatcakefanzine.proboards.com/thread/257627/hull-burnley-watford
Get the right strikers in to take the load off Hernandez and we wont have any relegation problems imo. We know why we went down last time. Correct that and it is happy days. Positive Positive Positive
I agree with the Stokies. I think us and Burnley are much better equipped than Boro. I expect them (Boro) to occupy one of the relegation places.
We probably need a lively midfield general too, injury luck would be helpful, plus a formation which gets the best out of players. The last is probably most people's worry.
Be an interesting one to watch (Gray). If Burnley get a good start he could be a 'Vardy'. One of the Stoke posters says about clubs making mistakes. Burnley could be if they let go of Dyche. Ours could be before the season starts if we don't have harmony from the off. The last couple of toxic seasons have been no good to anyone.
Surprised none of the Stoke lot mentioned Sunderland for relegation. Surely their luck has got to run out soon.
I think he'll do very similar to Deeney - he'll struggle for a few months at first and then he'll work it out. He'll be alright.
But as one of them said, it's too early to judge properly. It does depend on the signings we make. This is why Bruce is taking a stand.
I feel uncomfortable reading this thread. Can someone please invite SydneyTiger to come and ruin it with bickering? Ta
Bit early all this isn't it? Dunno who the manager will be. Dunno who the chairman will be. Let alone which players are coming or going. Long Summer for City yet.
