Prediction League The Stevie G Predictioooo League 15/16

With less than a month to go, the Infamous Predictiooo League is back and is now dedicated to the legend that has recently moved on.

First of all, be good to get an idea if people still want to do this. If not then the rest of this post is going to be completely pointless! So indicate on the poll if you're keen

Now last year I did LFC score every week and 1 LFC scorer, as well as 1 other random game from the Prem.

On top of that, was a series of predictions made at start (finishing position, top scorer etc etc).

Was going to do something similar but happy to hear suggestions if people want to make some (without trying to make it too complicated).

Some ideas I had

• Still predict an LFC scorer, but only score points for that scorer if you also get correct result (win, draw, loss).
• Or, don't have to predict a scorer. If you do and you get it right then you get double points, if you get it wrong, then your points are halved
• Get a "double my score" twice a season (one in first half, one in second) that you can play.
• minus points for getting the wrong result

I'm in. Same rules as last year

 

I would say look at other games. You could add other types of bets people do with the bookies.

Nothing to complicated maybe predict the time of the goal. Get it with 10 mins and win points.

You could always crucify yourself with a cash out option. Can cash out for half points if say a result is right say 2-1 is predicted and it's 2-1 at half time. Someone has to say cash out and take the points

 

Issue is people would have to be one during game and unfair advantage plus could be complicated when people said it and what the score was when they did etc

 

Well since I WON (just had to remind people of that) I have to come back to defend my title.

 

I'm in........I would keep the scoring pretty similar,nothing to complicated. I'm sure we can all rely on Biscan to fix it (excuse the pun )

 

Managed to fix it so roger won last season, he'll tell you the bribe he offered at the start of season worked wonders.

Still 4 weeks to get your bribes in so I can fix it for you

Not everyone managed to get to grips with last year's rules by the end, add more or over complicate it and it'll be even worse lol

Only thing I'd say is bonus points (league cup, el elimination, etc) should all be added at the end
