I really hope so. We have to beat Valencia next week. To go out of the CL this early when we have aspirations to win it would be a joke.
My biggest concern is Torres. Is he an asset or a disruptor. I can;t help thinking back to last season when the Drog, Annelka and Malouda were an awesome combination.

An awesome combination? When we had that bad patch last season not one of them stood up to the plate, when we needed wins and goals them 3 were ****ing awful, and torres is a asset to me, he adds extra pace and creativity which we lack, only got about 10 minutes vs newcastle but still managed to make runs and provide key passes and set up kalous goal. I too hope were go on a winning run now though our two big tests are valencia and city

Torres needs to start, it's not doing him any good. He's absolute tosh off the bench and takes about 5 touches to ready himself up for a shot. Drogba suits Mata and Sturridge either side of him because he holds the ball up well but what's the point in playing Drog if he's going to leave soon?

The OP Anelka, Drogba and Malouda were awesome in 2009-10 season when we won the league under Carlo which was 2 years ago. They were rubbish last season.

I agree with Drogs! For a whole load of reasons Torres needs to start. Confidence boosting/strategic vs Spasnish opponents/ exercising an expensive asset etc. If it isn't working at half time he can always be subbed , but he has to be given a chance!

I'd give January to him blue, let him start every game that month and see how he fairs.

Well I would be playing him week in week out and getting him match fit.

He didn't take his chance on Saturday in front of goal but still managed to lay it off for Kalou...

    PLAY HIM<grr>

I still believe him and drogba can play together judging by the way drogs been holding up the ball lately and with torres creativity and pace it would be a good combo, we should be playing a diamond with Romeu holding, mata on the left, sturridge on the right and lamps attacking with drog and torres up front or 4-1-3-2 with ramires/romeu in midfield, then mata on the left, lamps middle, sturridge right all 3 behind drogba and torres
