Lads with the new manager coming in (*cough moyes cough*) MON we think the question turns to the squad as every manager comes in there is four things which can happen to each individual member of our beloved squad. (ps. rumors being on twitter bruce could be going to blackburn) Things which could happen 1. Player stays the same no difference got a good head and is liked by both managers 2. Player florishes a squad player becomes a first team player 3. Player fades away a first team player goes to just a squad player 4. Player falls out/is sold does not like the new manager or the outher way round Here is my opinion please feel free to tell me im wrong and argue your player... The Squad Player name Gordon 4 Bardsley 3 Turner 1 Brown 1 Cattermole 4 Larsson 1 Gardner 2 Campbell 2 Wickham 2 Richardson 3 or 4 Angeleri 2 or 4 (dont know him much) Colback 3 Vaughan 2 O'Shea 2 Ji 3 (till older) Meyler 2 Bramble 4 Westwood 3 (new keeper brought in i think) Tounkara ? Mignolet 3 McClean 2 Carson 4 Cook 2 Elmohamady 3 Sessegnon 1 Knott 3 Noble 2 Kilgallon 4 Liddle 3 Lynch 3 Laing 3 Egan 3 Bendtner 1 Deacon 4 Just my opinion suject to change if someone can tell me somthing different about thes player
as i said i think MON (who likes his own keeper) will take a look at westwood and think young and send him back into the squad Richardson where will he play MON knows that a LB is needed Bardsley i think better players will come in
IMO I would hope MON or whoever keeps... Mignolet (going to be a very good keaper) Brown (adds the experience not just on the field but off it) Richardson (has been good at left back and deserves to be our first choice in that position, also a good player to have in the squad) Larsson (been the best signing of the summer) Colback (rarely wastes the ball and would be a good squad player) Sessegnon (our star man by a mile) Wickham (huge potential but should be 3rd or 4th choice, thats how bad our strike force is with him being chucked in so early) Campbell (if he can get back to the player he was, done a good job upfront for us aswell as out wide on the right) Gyan (get him back in the summer and get him focused on the job at hand, if he is hungry to play for the new manager and us then the past will be forgotten, by me anyways) as for the rest if a good offer comes in get rid and bring in big, strong, fast athletes with some spark in the midfield and a natural goalscorer upfront. Going to be interesting to see who the new man has in mind as we certainly are crying out for a striker
i like it how it is i will change it when a new manager comes in i feel now black is just anouther bruce...
Im pretty sure that O'Neill tried to buy Gordon when Keano got him........Might be wrong like. Just seen Murrays post and believe my thunder may have been burgled.
so you think he will start playing again lads mig or westwood whould get annoyed because both whould feel they had worked there way to the top
As far as we know Gordon is still injured, expected back October the 23rd, still no sign of life from him, maybe he is just one of these that when they get injured they take a lot longer to recover from that injury than other players. I do still think Gordon has a future with us, you dont just chuck a £9 million keeper on the scrapheap, but saying that, it was Drumaville and Keane that bought him, Short didnt, so its not like Short is losing anything apart from wages the past couple of years. I really cant see anyone buying him in January though, if he is still injured on the 1st December and has been out for months, and his contract is up at the end of the season as well. So he will come back and fight for his place the back end of the season, he hasnt really got much choice imho, and the other 2 will have to do the same.
What about Meyler? still think he has the potential to be our best midfielder .... and for Ireland too!
