"He was one of the first people to turn to Duff and Phelps and say, 'Don't pay me any salary'," said new club chief Charles Green. "Ally worked for free and I don't know any manager who has gone into their boss's office and said, 'I will work for free'." I hearby declare that this thread will now be about old tv shows Anybody ever rember YouBet! please log in to view this image I used to love it as a kid. Looking back now it's just a bunch of weirdos with weird interests. I remember a guy who could tell the type of Ford (or whatever car make) by the sounds of the horn. How would that ever be useful, apart from a hit & run incident of course.

Superb. There was a show on ITV called Childrens ward after school. What a cheery setting for kids to watch.
I loved You Bet. I watched it recently though on one of the ****ey Sky channels and it's ****ing shockingly bad!! A guy bet he could beat a skier down a ski slope on his mountain bike. He lost. Go figure
Hmmmmm Interesting. I can remember watching the show as a kid and I thought it was the scariest thing ever. Good call Tina.
