As some of you may know I am not black. But there are many other different fleshy pigmentations that are quite noticeable to people who meet me on the street. I have a few freckles. I grow a ginger beard and have little tints of red in my otherwise dark head of ever reducing hair. I've got brown eyes as well and I've got awfully pale Irish skin. So if I was to open the 'Society of Awfully Pale Irish Skinned Bookmakers' it would seem a bit ridiculous wouldn't it? I'd understand more if we were still in an age of intellectual defence of racial supremacy - but now the only people who spout such nonsense are the ostracised BNP types, the dregs of society. Almost everyone of any political power or intelligence has got over the whole race thing. Do we really need a load of people separating themselves from others over these few remaining idiots - people trying to prove they are no different to anyone else, by creating their own club?
An association for black footballers only is racist in itself. These jiggaboos just need to learn their place.

No. But neither is it necessary as neither white lawyers nor white footballers face regular prejudice based on the colour of their skin.

I never said that. I even gave examples of white racism a few weeks ago on another thread. But you can't justify racism by citing other examples of bigotry.
im not, i just think the thought of setting up a seperate players union etc specifically for black people is ridiculous. i thought the whole idea behind this "kick it out" campaign was to shift peoples thinking to that we're all the same, no matter what colour we are etc etc. a bit hypocritical if they then go and set up their very own group based on nothing more than their skin colour. if a white players union was set up there'd be all hell break loose.
