A few of us have seen this happening over the years , how things change in a club, new people coming in, with no thought for the club, it's players supporters, it's history, we were at the brink, and were an easy target for those that just want to take advantage, well guys history is repeating itself just down the road. I was watching the League show tonight and the first game up was our near neighbours. What struck me immediately was the black and red piped kit they wore . Where's the blue away kit I thought the last vestige of their history? I then looked at their shirt closer and noticed that the last nod towards their heritage was a smudge of blue that was smaller in size than the dot above the i in the Malasia Logo on their shirt. This coupled with the news that their Chairman has just resigned PLUS their main money man wants to buy Portsmouth FC and help them out of League 2 makes me think that the future aint bright down the road !

Imagine your a Cardiff fan for a minute, what an awful week you've just had.

Your club may well change its name.
    Your chairman resigns.
Your owner says he wants to buy another club.
    You lose your league match.
Your neighbours win a major cup final by a record margin.

I'm leaving the poor buggers alone, it's why I haven't been on their board because they've got enough problems. Some of them can see what's on the horizon but most either can't or won't.

All joking aside I do not like to see the demise of any football club, we all know what happened to Wimbledon and I fear we could be witnessing the same happening to Cardiff City. The big difference with the newly formed AFC Wimbledon is they are English. Would a newly found AFC Cardiff City as a Welsh team be allowed to join the lowest ring of the English football pyramid system if Kim Jong changed the existing name and moves them to play in England.

Very worrying times indeed for the neighbours.

But their owner is worth 1.2 billion and they are going to be more popular in the east than both Man U and liverpool cause they play in red and they will be challenging for champions league next season. Right.

When you boil it down, the only people who give a **** about a football club are the fans.

We're lucky at the moment in that the club is almost entirely owned by lifelong fans of the club. Of the significant shareholders, I believe that only Brian Katzen isn't a Jack born and bred. However, it would be foolish to assume that this will always be the case.

Huw Jenkins can't go on forever. We've already seen this season what the next generation of the Morgan family is like. Katzen may get an offer that tempts him to sell thus introducing a potential predator to the board of directors. For all these reasons and more the Supporters need to maintain an active and influential supporters trust.

The goal, in the long run, has to be for the club to be completely owned and controlled by the Trust itself.

I've no sympathy I'm afraid. They really do think they're something special but the truth is that they're a laughing stock of a club run by a power mad dictator.
Imagine any of this nonsense happening to us, we wouldn't take it lying down like them. Plastic club, chairman and fans. Franchise FC will be playing elsewhere soon enough

If he doesn't leave soon, he will leave next summer when they are relegated.

Daiswan is right, this man will leave when he wants but only after he's changed their name, colour and taken them to the cleaners.
